What a morning šæour team planted 1,876 native trees and plants along the Papakura Stream corridor!
A big shout-out to theĀ Conservation Volunteers New ZealandĀ (CVNZ) team -Ā Kimberly McLeod, Daniel, Sophie and Kareen - for leading such a well-organised and meaningful planting day at the Papakura Stream Restoration Project in TÄmaki Makaurau Auckland.
After a clear H&S briefing, we learned how to plant properly so every rÄkau has the best chance to thrive. The CVNZ team even came around to check our work by gently tugging the seedlings to make sure they were firm and secure in the soil.
NgÄ mihi CVNZ - we loved being part of this project supporting healthier waterways and stronger native ecosystems. Proud of our team for showing up with great energy and care. š
