CLIENT: Hawkins Construction
PROJECT VALUE:
• Carpentry Works: $ 4.1 Million
LOCATION: 100 Hospital Road, Auckland
The Middlemore Hospital reclad project encompassed a comprehensive renovation of approximately 6,400 m² of external cladding. This extensive undertaking was segmented into 7 to 8 stages, as dictated by the construction programme, to ensure precise coordination and minimal disruption to the hospital's ongoing operations, especially around sensitive operational rooms.
Our team faced and overcame significant challenges, including the need for meticulous planning to integrate the work seamlessly within a live hospital environment. We prioritized the safety and wellbeing of hospital staff, patients, and our workers by implementing rigorous safety protocols throughout the project's duration.
In addition to enhancing the hospital's exterior aesthetics, the reclad project significantly improved the building's durability and energy efficiency. Our careful scheduling and strict noise control measures were pivotal in delivering the project on time, without compromising the hospital's essential services.
This project's successful completion demonstrates our expertise in executing complex renovations in critical, operational settings while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
