We are an established construction company with 16 years of history based in Auckland, New Zealand. Our work is mainly focused on commercial sector concrete structure and internal fit-out.

 

Due to rapid growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced QS to fill the above permanent role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

​

• Receive and review tender drawing

• Prepare tender/quote

• Review contract documents; negotiation of the contract sum

• Assist site team with materials ordering; source alternative construction system if require

• Assist project manager running project by means of budget control; sub-contractor appointment; invoices checking

• Prepare monthly progress claim and payment certificate

• Final account preparation and payment follow up

• Prepare contract documents/schedule of quantities

• Prepare variation order and

• Site visits and assessments of progress

 

Skills & Experience:

​

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

• Minimum 3 years working experience

• Able to speak Chinese
